Tachiya Bryant is a multi-media artist from San Jose. She has showcased her work in numerous local galleries, including Bass and Reiner, Works San Jose, 1Culture, Oakstop, Mercury 20, Mexican Heritage Plaza, and the Santa Clara County Fairgrounds. In addition to her artistic contributions, Tachiya has curated multiple events and art exhibitions within her community. In 2023, she was selected for the prestigious CreaTV apprenticeship program, where she produced a documentary featuring Nirvana Soul CEOs Jeronica Macey and Be’Anka Ashaolu, which premiered on December 9th. Currently, her work is on display at the Palo Alto Art Center as part of the “What’s Cookin’?” exhibition and at NUMU Los Gatos.
Tachiya’s artistic style is characterized by its vibrant use of color and mixed media techniques. She often incorporates collage, painting, and digital media elements to create dynamic and thought-provoking pieces. Her work frequently explores identity, community, and cultural heritage themes, reflecting her deep connection to her roots and her commitment to social justice.
